Well, it’s been a cracking start to the year, not just in terms of ticket sales, but with the superb array of exhibitors who have signed up so far. It’s wonderful to be welcoming back some of the 2017’s stars including The Wine Society, When in Rome, Ken Forrester Wines, Champagnes Piper-Heidsieck, Charles Heidsieck and Deutz, Quinta do Noval, Harvey Nichols, Château du Mediterranean, Caballo Loco, Richmond Wine Agencies and Waterford Estate to name but a few.
But there’s a glittering array of new names too: among those already confirmed are wine producing estates Howard Park, one of Margaret River’s superstars, Santa Rita Estates from Chile and Argentina, Wiston Estate, producers of some of my favourite English sparkling wines, Bodegas Manzanos from Rioja and Zonin of Italy. Specialist merchants include Portuguese Vinhos (eh, with wines from Portugal!), l’Altre Vi and Bat & Bottle, superb importers of artisan Italian and organic Spanish wines respectively, Tilley’s Wines with their Australian and Italian portfolio and Pomalo representing wines of Croatia. Terrific independent merchants are also signing up, including Great Grog, From Vineyards Direct, The Vino Beano and many more.
Those are just some of the exhibitors, new and old, that I am really looking forward to welcoming to the festivals this year. We’ll be updating the exhibitor lists for each festival over coming weeks with these plus all of the other fabulous wine business who will be joining us in 2018.
Bring it on!
