About the 2017 Festivals of Wine

THREE AMAZING WINE FESTIVALS

In 2002 wine writer Tom Cannavan created an immensely popular annual wine festival in his native city of Glasgow, with superb wines on tasting and amazing masterclass sessions featuring the world’s most interesting wines. In 2008 he founded The Wine Gang and successful wine festivals in cities across the UK. Read more about Tom below.

Now, Tom is bringing his own festival to London and Edinburgh too. Each is a day-long celebration of wine with a real sense of community. Entry tickets includes unlimited tastings from hundreds of high quality wines being poured by top wine retailers, importers and winemakers. There’s also a full programme of masterclasses at each event.

What to expect

The Festivals are serious about wine, but never, ever stuffy. You’ll discover great new wines, learn the stories behind them, and hone your own palate through this amazing opportunity to compare and contrast so many quality wines. Our policy is to also keep our masterclass ticket prices very affordable: we want as many people as possible to enjoy these unmissable sessions – not only to taste some of the world’s greatest wines, but to learn from our expert tutors.

All three Festivals take place in stunning city centre venues, and are open from noon until 5pm – with re-entry via the Festival wristband. There’s even the chance to win a bottle of Champagne. Above all, you’ll have fun!
